At 14 years of age I started to learn judo/jujutsu in Kensington. It was there that I met Kevin Walsh. He became my teacher and mentor. I received my black belt and took over the instruction of the school. Kevin and I married and continued our martial art journey together.

  • Taught at seminars in Germany, Hungary, France & Greece
  • Attended DNBK seminars in Portugal, Belgium and France.
  • Commenced training in Iaido and Jodo in 2005.
  • 2nd Place in Australian National Iaido Championship, Canberra 2009.
  • Attended DNBK Elite Jujutsu seminar Kyoto, Japan.
  • Attended World Butoku Sai events in Kyoto, Japan in 2008, 2012 and 2016.
  • Received the rank of Renshi in Kyoto, Japan 2012.
  • Taught at “Fight for Life”  since 2010, a charity event to raise money for curing cancer.
  • Currently teaching Iaido and Women’s Self Defence at Craigieburn Martial Arts Centre.
